Whitstable Oyster Shell Pin/Brooch

I live in the beautiful town of Whitstable and frequently take my dogs for walks along the beach. Almost every time I go I fill my pockets with shells and stones that catch my eye. Some of them make it to my workbench, where they are turned into silver necklaces, earrings, bracelets etc, others are used for photo props.

This oyster shell has been cast in sterling silver and is a solid 6.2g in weight. The beautiful growth lines have been highlighted with a dark patina. The silver shell has a sterling silver pin and safety clasp to wear on your favourite top or jacket.
